Church of the Blessed Virgin of Graces
8 Via Marco Polo Torino
The Parish of the Blessed Virgin of Graces was a place of deep spiritual significance for Pier Giorgio Frassati. It was here that he received his First Communion and Confirmation, and where he often spent time in daily Eucharistic adoration. A plaque now marks the spot where he would quietly kneel in prayer during Mass. The parish also holds his baptismal and death certificates.
The parish is located directly across from the house where Pier Giorgio Frassati died. During his funeral, the streets were unexpectedly filled with mourners, revealing to both the public and his family the deep impact he had on the community. The short walk from his home to the church turned into a powerful public procession, symbolizing the quiet greatness of his life.
