San Salvatore in Ognissanti: A Tapestry of Art and History

The Church of San Salvatore in Ognissantim founded in the mid-thirteenth century by the humiliated friars, was dedicated to wool processing and trade. Enriched with extraordinary art, including Giotto's Maesta, it later passed to the Observant Friars and underwent major renovations. The interior retains Gothic architecture with Baroque decoration.

Notable is Botticelli's 1480 fresco of Sant'Agostino. Visitors can also find Botticelli's tomb in this historic church.
