Largo Santa Luzia Lisboa Lisboa
Scenic Point with Gallery, Fountains, and Church
This scenic point with its garden, arcade, and decorative blue tiles overlooks the rest of the Alfama Neighborhood and the centre of Lisbon. It is located next to the Church of Santa Lucia.
The church was constructed in the 12th Century to replace part of a Moorish fort that used to be in its place. The original church was destroyed during the 1755 earthquake and was reconstructed by the end of the 18th Century. It is currently a national monument under the possesion of the Knights of Malta.
