Lisbon Cathedral
Largo da Sé Lisboa Lisboa
Medieval and Timeless Cathedral
The Sé de Lisboa, also known as the Cathedral of St. Mary Major, was constructed in 1147 on the site of a mosque after they retook the city from the Moors. It is currently the oldest active church in Lisbon.
Inside the church also lies the baptismal font of St. Anthony of Padua, who was born and raised across the street from the cathedral.
