Place of Healing and Jesuit Church

Lisbon’s Church of St. Roque was built in 16th Century and was the first Jesuit church built in Portugal. It has an auditorium layout and was furnished in the baroque style.

The church was one of the few buildings that was not lost during Lisbon’s earthquake in 1755.
