The Tomb of St. John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian order, is buried in the Basilica of Our Lady Help of Christians in Turin. The basilica, built between 1865 and 1868, was central to St. John Bosco’s work with underprivileged youth. According to tradition, St. John Bosco was inspired to build the church after a vision of the Virgin Mary, who revealed to him the ancient site of martyrdom of Saints Solutor, Adventor, and Octavius.

Today, it stands not only as a pontifical church but also as a major Marian shrine, home to around 6,000 relics of various saints such as St. Mary Mazzarello, co-founder of the Salesian Sisters, and St. Dominic Savio, one of Don Bosco’s most devoted young students.
