Chapel located hidden inside an attic

The Our Lord in the Attic Museum is the most well preserved clandestine church in Amsterdam. It was established after the beginning of the Protestant Reformation and thus was always hidden from the public eye. The apartment was owned by Jan Hartman, who lived with his family beneath the attic church. It was dedicated in 1663.

Visitors today can buy a ticket to visit during the week, or attend Mass on the first Sunday on the month.
